AHEPA First Party Convenes in Houston to Elect New Leadership

Houston, Texas – April 5, 2025

Leaders and delegates from across the United States and Canada gathered at the DoubleTree Hotel in Houston on April 5, 2025, for the annual AHEPA First Party meeting. The event served as a pivotal moment for selecting candidates to lead the Order of AHEPA in the upcoming year and to prepare for the World Congress in Orlando, Florida.

The session began promptly at 9 a.m. with an opening prayer, followed by formal reports from members of the current administration, regional governors, and the President of AHEPA Canada. After the initial presentations, the participants broke for lunch before proceeding with the key item on the agenda: candidate nominations for AHEPA’s Supreme Lodge positions.

The following individuals were nominated and confirmed by the assembly:

  • Supreme President: Christos Kaitson

  • Supreme Secretary: Themistocles (Tim) Frankos

  • Supreme Treasurer: Marshall Monsell

  • Supreme Counselor: Ted Stamas

  • Supreme Governor: Emmanuel Konstas

  • Director of Athletics: Christos Atsavas

  • District Governor Region 1 (P1): Steve Nicholson

  • District Governor Region 3 (P3): Dean Moskos

  • District Governor Region 7 (P7): Mark Boulet

  • District Governor Region 8 (P8): Tassos Moussas

Former Supreme President Nick Karacostas moderated the meeting, which drew enthusiastic participation from Ahepans throughout North America. The day concluded with a reception in the suite of Supreme Vice President Christos Kaitson, providing a relaxed setting for networking and camaraderie among members.

This annual tradition not only strengthens the organizational structure of AHEPA but also fosters unity and continuity within the Greek-American community. The leaders chosen at the Houston meeting are poised to represent the interests of AHEPA members globally at the upcoming World Congress in Orlando.
